Leaning Tower Hoax

So called Leaning Tower actually straightening.
Millions of tourists duped!
Italian authorities have perpetrated an elaborate hoax to garner tourist trade. The Tower of Pisa was intentionally built at a 45 degree angle to make it seem unusual and tourist worthy.
Italian impresario Marcello Messtrioni came up with the scheme and presented it to the city of Pisa as a way of rejuvenating it's flagging economy. The city was looking for a way to attract tourists dollars and immediately authorized the construction.
Tourists flocked to the Pisa adding untold millions to the local economy. Unfortunately the site's soil conditions were unstable and over the years the builders hard work has slowly been eroded as the tower continues to right itself.
The so called Leaning Tower of Pisa is actually straightening. Engineers estimate by the year 2005 the tower will be completely straight almost perpendicular to the ground. Another tourist scam will have ended.
